SpareFoot is the largest, simplest and best marketplace for self-storage. They also provide leading web marketing solutions for storage operators. Their company is a fun and cool start-up headquartered in Austin.
Founded in 2008 by then-UCLA students Chuck Gordon and Mario Feghali, SpareFoot originated as a person-to-person storage website that helped people rent extra space for storage in private residences. Then they realized there was a larger opportunity for this platform in the traditional self-storage industry.
After they were accepted into the Capital Factory they packed their bags and moved to Austin. Listen to Chuck talk with the Austin iLab about how SpareFoot is innovating in the storage space industry.
